After playing our latest build, we concluded as a team that what was missing the original version of A Life in Silk is interactivity. In other words, we focused too much on the "novel," hence the story, and not enough on the gameplay experience.

We decided to add more interactive elements in the game around the game's central theme, which is secrets. Each character in our game has dirty secrets to tell, and your challenge as a player is to find them out.

And so we will be adding the following mechanics to add more interactivity and replayability:

• Riddles that once solved with expose hidden content
• Secret points that you can spend on unlocking character secrets

We will keep the community posted on new developments and plan to release a beta in the coming month.
